Mynts for great days.

Everyday wins become visible progress. Parents set the boundaries, kids help choose what they are working toward, and Mynts make the path clear.

iPhone and Android. No ads, public profiles, or third-party tracking of children.

How it works

A simple loop with the parent still in charge.

  1. Choose what matters

Create routines, one-off tasks, or behaviours to talk through. Kids can suggest a simple task idea; a parent decides the value, schedule, and whether it becomes active.

  2. Kids mark them done

On their own phone or tablet with a username and a 6-digit PIN, or by handing them yours — kid mode is PIN-protected so they can't wander into the settings.

  3. You approve

Claims land in one inbox. Nothing changes a balance until a grown-up says so, which is what stops a kid from tapping their way to a new bike.

  4. They spend or save together

Pick personal rewards or enable one shared family goal that siblings can fund together. Links and product pictures make a kid's big idea easy for a parent to understand.

Built for how families actually run

The details that turn a points app into one you keep using past week two.

Chores before spending

Rewards can stay locked until the must-do list is done — or until the day's tasks add up to a Mynt target you set. Their screen counts down exactly how many are left.

Real-world schedules

Daily, weekdays only, weekends, specific days, three times a day, or four times a week. One-off tasks can carry a due date and show up on a calendar.

Two parents, no fuss

Both parents get full access with their own login, and both see the same approvals inbox live. Co-parents join by a single-use invite, not a shared code.

Allowance you don't lose track of

Optionally give tasks and rewards a cash value and let the app remember what you owe. Myntley never moves money — it's a shared note, not a bank.

Saving is worth something

Turn on daily interest and a kid who holds their Mynts watches them grow. It's the cheapest compound-interest lesson you'll ever teach.

Nothing is unfixable

Every award is a ledger entry you can undo, and undoing frees up the slot or the reward limit it used. History is never quietly rewritten.

A goal siblings share

With more than one kid, parents can turn one reward into a family goal. Each child chooses how many available Mynts to contribute, and every contribution remains attributable and refundable until the goal is claimed.

Rewards you can picture

Add an optional product link and artwork to a reward. Kids and parents can open the saved website, while parents stay in control of approval and purchasing.

What we don't do

This is a kids' app, so the list of things we leave out matters as much as the feature list.

No ads. Ever.

Not on the parent side, and certainly not on a screen a seven-year-old is looking at.

No third-party tracking of kids

No advertising SDKs and no analytics tied to a child's identity. We collect the least we can: a display name, an avatar, and a colour.

No social features

There is no public profile, no feed, and no way for anyone outside your family to see or contact your kid.

No allowance payment rails

Allowance amounts are labels for your family's own reference. Myntley holds no family funds and moves no money between anyone; an optional Plus subscription is billed separately by the app store.

Start with the family loop. Add depth when it helps.

The core experience stays useful without a subscription.

Myntley Free

Daily and one-off tasks, parent approvals, must-do reward gates, a family reward shelf, a co-parent, kid logins, and basic progress — with limits on how much active setup you keep at once.

Myntley Plus

More room plus advanced schedules and limits, allowance tracking, Mynt interest, reminders, daily-target unlocking, and deeper stats. One parent's subscription unlocks the whole family.

Current local price, billing period, and any introductory trial appear in the App Store purchase sheet before confirmation.

Common questions

Does each kid need their own phone?

No. Kids can have their own login on their own device, or you can hand them yours — “kid mode” shows only their quests and rewards, and getting back to the parent view needs your PIN.

What if my kids are different ages?

Tasks and rewards can be assigned to specific kids, so a five-year-old and a twelve-year-old see completely different lists with different Mynt values.

Can I undo a mistake?

Yes — every award and every redemption. Undoing also frees whatever it used up, like a repeat slot or a weekly reward limit, and the original stays visible marked “Undone” rather than quietly disappearing.
